Fresh Water Filling

The fresh water filling is an automatic function that drains the sea water inside the filter, and refills with fresh water from the ships fresh water tanks.

GPS Logging

Connecting the Optimarin Ballast System to an GPS source onboard, provides the opportunity for logging of coordinates for each operation. The OBS time and date can also be automatically synced with the vessels GPS time.

OptiLink

Stripping with Ejector

During tank emptying, the flow of ballast water to the suction pump can become restricted by the bottom structure; consequently, the main ballast pump will often lose suction before tank is  completely empty. Adding the “Stripping” option to the Optimarin Ballast System, makes it easy for the operator to remove remaining ballast water through an ejector.
